This is, basically the CANCEL processing in the proxy changes nothing in the proxy itself. Do I miss something? (however I've re-checked it and found nothing else). _______________________________________________ That is correct. The tree of proxies is responsible for propagating CANCEL to all the UASs that have received INVITEs. But the real race between the user answering the call at a UAS and the CANCEL terminating the early dialog is fought in the UAS. That's why the UAS always responds 200 to CANCEL and it is the response code to the INVITE that tells whether the call was canceled or answered.
