Hi, as per BNF grammar in RFC 3261, the following URI (absolute URI as it's not sip/sips/tel) is not allowed: mailto:alice@[3ffe:1900:4545:3:200:f8ff:fe21:67cf] _______________________________________________ Yes, there is (or was) an effort to fix the grammar. (I was asked to provide some input.) Also, don't forget RFC 5954, "Essential Correction for IPv6 ABNF and URI Comparison in RFC 3261".
