Hello,

Please help me with the bellow situations regarding RFC 3312.

Let's say that UAS supports only segmented precondition type as defined in
subject RFC, but not the e2e.

1. What would be the proper answer to the following offer when both e2e and
segmented are received? Should UAS omit the e2e in the answer?

        m=audio 20000 RTP/AVP 0
        a=curr:qos local none
        a=curr:qos remote none
        a=des:qos mandatory local sendrecv
        a=des:qos mandatory remote sendrecv
        a=curr:qos e2e none / ignore ?? /
        a=des:qos *optional *e2e sendrecv */ ignore ?? /*

2. What if only e2e is received and precondition option tag is indicated in
a) supported header,
b) require header?

        a=curr:qos e2e none
        a=des:qos *optional *e2e sendrecv

Should UAS ignore preconditions in (a) and continue the call without using
preconditions?
Should UAS reject the call for (b) with 580 and sdp containing

        a=des:qos failure e2e sendrecv ?

thanks in advance,

cheers,
Damir
