Hi Vineet,
Stateless proxy does routing like normal proxy. The only difference it
does not add its IP in Record-Route and Via header(If it dont want response
of current transaction also).
For accounting, it has to be statefull as subsequent request will not
go through stateless and it will not be able to do accounting.
There are three types of proxies:
1. Call Statefull proxy: It maintains call state and all
Request/Response of active dialog pass through this proxy. This proxy will
add its entry to Via and Record-Route header.
2. Transaction Statefull(Call Stateless) : It maintains only transaction
state and only response of current transaction will pass through this
proxy. This proxy will add its entry to via header only.
3. Transaction Stateless : This proxy will maintain no state at all and
will forward all the requests it received.
