Hi! I'm trying to understand the offer/answer aspects of using SDES.
If the offerer sends something like: a=crypto:1 AES_CM_128_HMAC_SHA1_80 inline:KEYSTUFF|2^28 There's a key lifetime given. Does the answer have to use the same lifetime? What if the answer contains no lifetime? The lifetime is an attribute of the key and the answer has another key, so I don't expect any issues if the answer contains 2^31 - or am I wrong? RFC 4568 is not very clear on what happens at the end of a lifetime for a key. I guess it requires another offer/answer and master key exchange - but who initiates this? /O _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list Sip-implementors@lists.cs.columbia.edu https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
