But 3261 would sometimes make the registrar-proxy fork requests to those 
contacts through the multiple edge proxies, because as far as it knew they were 
unique instances.  Outbound would not.  3261 would also keep stale contacts 
(from dead flows) for the register lifetime, whereas outbound replaces them.  
And 3261 did not have connect-reuse behavior for the endpoint-proxy flow, 
although obviously in practice many proxies did that anyway for endpoint flows.
