Hi Klaus, well, there are several issues with respect to TCP code, including bad and slow TCP reading (1 octet at a time) - but this is another story...
I have been reading through the issue you reported and was discussed http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=30109347&forum_id=40081 and http://lists.iptel.org/pipermail/serusers/2006-July/029809.html We didn't had time to look at that yet and don't expect to have very soon unfortunately.
