Hello David,

Could you show us the command line you use to launch sipp ?

Regards,

Thank you everyone for your help, I got it complied now.

basically I had to install the libpcap library instead of just copying the
header files in to the sipp directory, I also had to download and install
the libnet library.

I now have another problem that I can't find on Google:

I get this error when I attempt to execute sipp: Can't get local IP address
in getaddrinfo, local_host='192-168-0-43.safedataisp.net', local_ip=''.

I have no idea what this is saying or how to fix it.

Thanks,

pcap.h is now wrapped in the libpcap-devel RPM, and

Fedora doesn't have libpcap-devel installation by default.

You'll need to find and install libpcap-devel which matches

your libpcap version. Then you can compile SIPp happily.

Thanks,

Clement.

I'm logging in as root and am attempting to compile SIPp.

I didn't have a problem but it didn't include the PCAP play option which I
need. I did the #make pcapplay and I got an error about missing pcap.h so I
downloaded libpcap and extracted it to the SIPp directory. Now my make gets
a lot further, but I'm still getting errors. Before I continue just trying
stuff blindly does any one have a HOWTO or other documentation on what I
need to do to get this to compile?

Thanks,
