I have run a peak of somewhere around 5000 signaling only CPS between servers on a locally switched network.. I recall running into Linux UDP buffer issues above 5K cps. At the time, I was running RedHat AS4.

Hi all! Just had a (awkward) discussion with a representative of a commercial SIP-testing - solution about the performance of SIPp. Now I am wondering about Your experiences for the maximum measured cps-rate of a 'usual' INVITE-scenario - just for statistics. I'm not curious about the performance - or the type - of the SUT, but just the current "cps - high-score", You ever archived with SIPp. I think, this fact would also be useful for the wiki, thanks in advance and BR Michael -- Michael Hirschbichler, Dipl.-Ing.
