Hi,
we found out that when we do the IPv6 test with sipp, the sipp takes the wrong
IP address. We are running 3 sipp scripts on the same machine with following
configuration:
Client B :LocalIP="[2000:4::3:91]" MediaPort="15000" Port="5060"
ServerIP="[2000:4::183:101]"
Client C:LocalIP="[2000:4::3:92]" MediaPort="15000" Port="5060"
ServerIP="[2000:4::183:101]"
Client D: LocalIP="[2000:4::3:93]" MediaPort="15000" Port="5060"
ServerIP="[2000:4::183:101]"
But in the attached wireshark trace we see always 2000:4::3:93 is used. The
error message "Unable to bind main socket errno = 112 (Address already in
use)." is received .
Transport protocol is UDP.
The same scenario runs with IPv4 OK.
We are running sipp under WinXP SP3. Do you know if the issue is Win specific
or it is more general issue of sipp.
