HI guys,
For testing purpose I need to be able to monitor the number of registered
and connected users on an Asterisk server.
I first tried, after an user is registered, to send temporaly OPTIONS
messages as keep-alive. The Asterisk server answers correctly 200 OK but
doesn't keep the communication active anyway.
It seems I have to use the qualify statement in sip.conf to keep a
connection alive and to know who is actually connected on the server. (If
someone can confirm it...)
Anyway, it's not a mailing list about Asterisk.
With the qualify statement, Asterisk sends to my user OPTIONS messages but
my SIPp scenario seems to not handle it.
I can see in Wireshark all the OPTIONS messages received by the machine but
the counter of OPTIONS messages in SIPp stays at 0.
My scenario is very ordinary :
IMS SIpp <--------> Asterisk
REGISTER -->
401 <---
REGISTER -->
200 ok <--
OPTIONS <-- (counter keeps staying at 0)
200 OK --> (same here of course)
I got no error messages and no retransmission or unexpected messages.
Any help would be very appreciated.
