I was able to create a scenario that reproduced the problem - the randomly-sampled pause value was negative and so wrapped around, which meant the pause lasted for around INT_MAX milliseconds (about 2.5 days). I've now fixed this (https://github.com/SIPp/sipp/commit/49fde499c690af358a5abbda9d77ee6a481ca159).
