I think you are trying to say: Don't assume it will be there on startup Which is DIFFERENT than what Damian was saying: Things might get deleted via cron WHILE the system is still running. I've moved the database stuff from freeswitch into var/sipxdata/tmp/freeswitch, so I'm invested in the outcome. I don't expect the files in there to survive a restart, reboot, or upgrade, but I sure as heck expect them to be there while FreeSWITCH is running.
