In addition, the particular issue with XECS-2312 only happens on Polycom Phones using non-711 codecs, when they put the AA or conference bridge on hold they get hung up on. Sorry, I don't see how that is a big enough deal to destabilize a release. For the next release, yes MOH on FS is a great idea, as FS has all the codecs and a "rolling" background music concept that is much nicer than the existing one. We should add the ability to add/delete the music files. In addtion, FS works better when the sample rate of the music matches the codec rates, and thus allows for multiple directories of music with multiple sample rates. Currently, we only allow for the "8000" s/sec rate, which is okay as FS will transcode as needed, but isn't optimal. While we're at it, FS can support streaming music sources for MOH, like shoutcast, and it would be nice to support that too. --Woof! _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev
