No. Though, I find the AudioCodes GUI and documentation to be
perplexing, and might simply be overlooking something.

You can however specify a list of IP addresses that the gateway should
accept INVITEs from (up to 50.)

So the AudioCodes "Secure SIP Calls" feature is compatible with direct
gateway dialing.

But they're painful to use together, since you'd need to enter all the
phone IP addresses into the little "Accepted IP Addresses" edit box in
sipXconfig. Actually, sipXconfig currently limits the length of the
string. To get 50 IP addresses in there you'd need to use the
AudioCodes Web GUI.

Using these two features together is also a bit risky. If the phones
use DHCP, or otherwise change IP addresses then they may suddenly be
unable to dial emergency numbers.

These are more good reasons to avoid using direct gateway dialing from
the phones.

The latest plan is to turn off automatic direct gateway dialing. This
is covered under XCF-3581, though it isn't currently scheduled.

Damian, can you confirm that XCF-3581 is indeed planned for 4.0?
