Hi folks,

Our company is currently looking at deploying SipX into a portion of our
company as a pilot to evaluate its suitability for the larger organisation.
The proposal is that we put this into one of our smaller Call Centres with
about 10 to 20 Agents.

The problem for us is that we need an Agent Board similar to the one provided
by Advatel (http://www.advatel.com.au/content/view/196/175/).
We could look at buying this from Advatel but in the interest of using open
source software I would be keen to see something like an open source Wallboard
developed, and in particular one that connects to SipX.

What we require is a small application that installs on Windows XP that shows
the following information:
Queues down the left hand side
Waiting Calls, Available Agents, Abandoned Calls, and Call Waiting time across
the screen (maybe others but lets leave it at that for the moment).

In the background setup for each queue we need the ability to set the
thresholds so that for example if a call has been waiting 20 seconds it turns
amber, at 30 seconds it turns red for example.

All of this is pretty standard wall boarding but we don't have the experience
in our organisation to develop something like this.
So, the proposal is that we would like to contribute to the SipX project by
requesting this as a development for the community by paying for some of the
development time and leave the project with SipX for others to use.

Of course prior to this we will need estimates for costs and time and if
agreeable then we can proceed.
Obviously it would need to be competitive in comparison to Advatel's solution
otherwise there would be no point.

If there are some of you out there that feel this would be achievable and
something you would like to be part of we would appreciate your feedback. If
the consensus is that it would be a waste of time considering there are a few
commercial options out there then your feedback would be welcomed.
We are however under some time constraints, this requirement is immediate.

Thanks all

Regards,
Grant Lang
