Hi all,

After you enable or disable a Dial Rule in 4.0 you get a "One or more
services need to be restarted" message with a link to an "Affected
Services" screen . The message and link persists until the you've
completed the task. This is great.

I have noticed though that this messages does not show up on the screen
render following the OK/Apply. You need to instead aimlessly navigate
through the menus before a screen load eventually causes the message to
appear.

Is it reasonable to expect this message to appear on the screen render
that follows the OK/Apply?

Understood that it takes a fairly long time for sipXconfig to decide
that restarts are required and/or generate the affected profiles. I'm
not complaining about that though.

What I don't like as a user is not seeing the path to complete my task
when the page reloads. The GUI gives the impression that your change is
complete and has taken effect. You need to rely on memory or accident
to finish the job promptly.

I would much rather sit there watching the browser spin for 5-10 seconds
if the message and link are present when the page does eventually load.
Even better if it puts you right into the Affected Services screen.

Forgive me if this has been debated already. Thanks.
