I'm updating the BLF test cases and I just tried the following scenario :
1) Add two users 310 and 340 and register two Nortel 12xx phones.
2) Navigate to user 310 -->speed dial -->add the speed dial entry as 340
with presence checked as follows :
Name ----------- Number --------------- Subscribe to presence
u340 ----------- 340 ----------------- Enabled
3) Click on Apply and then 'Save and Update Phone(s)' button. Phone with
UID 310 gets rebooted.
4) Verify the speed dial entry on phone's (UID 310) TUI.
5) Now , set the monitored phone (UID 340) to DND state.
Expected result : Soon after monitored phone set to DND, the BLF on
monitoring phone 310 should display busy indication.
Actual result : No busy indication has observed on the monitoring phone
soon after setting the monitored phone to DND.
Could you please tell whether it is a valid scenario ? Please let me
know the correct behavior on the monitoring phone, when the monitored
phone is set to DND status.
Observations :
1)The same is observed for Polycom and LG phones also.
2) When the monitored phone set to DND, then the monitoring phone is not
getting any NOTIFY message from the RLS server saying that the monitored
phone is in DND status.
