Polycoms allow you to define multiple Alert-Info strings, which can be associated with a Ring Type. Multiple Ring Types can also be added, but there are a good number of them pre-defined. The selected Ring Type controls the ring pattern, but also auto-answer and which call waiting tone is heard when already on a call. Our Polycom GUI allows the user to configure only a single Alert-Info string, but these settings are hijacked when Intercom is enabled. A second Alert-Info string is hard-coded for exclusive use with sipXpage. For this feature to work with Polycoms the phone profile would require: - hard-coding of a third Alert-Info for exclusive use by this feature; and - additional configuration of a new Ring Type for the ring and call waiting patterns to be played when a call is returning from a park orbit. -Paul [email protected] _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev
