Bravo! This is one cool project! If we are going to do this, we should probably take the calling support out of the current sipx-xmpp plugin. and replace it with a more comprehensive "personal attendant" plugin. We probably want multi-level context sensitive help and command completion support. I can't see users remember a complicated set of commands. For example tab could bring up the possible commands in a given context. (Alternatively, we could build the Eliza program into the Personal Attendant so you can have long heart to heart conversations with it :-) ) > > -----Original Message----- > From: Worley, Dale (BL60:9D30) > Sent: Thursday, July 09, 2009 1:30 PM > To: Fowler, Peter (CAR:9D10) > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [sipX-dev] Personal Assistant description > > On Wed, 2009-07-08 at 15:52 -0400, Peter Fowler wrote: >> I've posted a strawman Personal Assistant Definition at >> >> http://wiki.sipfoundry.org/users/viewuserprofile.action?username=fowle >> rp >> >> It is rough/incomplete.
