Cosmin,

I would follow the CSV format used in Outlook or Gmail as the standard.
Do an export of contacts from Outlook or Gmail and look at the format.
Follow this so that we can then import it. The attached is from Outlook.

Regards,

Al

Subject: [sipX-dev] new CSV/vCard file format

Hi All,

I have a question regarding issue XX-5941 - Store uploaded phonebooks in
the DB.

Currently, the CSV file format is First_name, Last_name, Number(on each
line, except the first).
If we want to extend the user information(based on XX-5547), the CSV
file format will become much complicated, as bellow:
First_name, Last_name, Number, cell_number, cell_home_number,
assistant_name_and_number, fax_number, location, company_name, address,
job, departament, office_designation, IM, alternative_IM.

Is this how the new format file will look like or I should think about
someting else?

Please help me with an ack/suggestion.

The same problem is with the vCard format file.

Thanks,
 Cosmin.
