I'm not an expert in EDE but the person that maintains it is on vacation
so I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest something that may or may
nor work. Edit ede_base_root.sh and substitute 'https' for 'http' in
the line that reads:
sudo su - $DEVEL_USER -c "echo p | svn co
https://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org/rep/sipXecs/main/sipXcallLib/include/tapi
/ /tmp/del_me"
Save your modification and try to run it again...

We am setting up Development Environment the by following the
procedure from

etup.
Authentication failing in step2 ( Run the ede_base_root.sh
script (as root) ) after running the following command :
wget
http://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org/rep/sipXecs/main/extras/ede/ede_base_root.
sh
chmod +x ede_base_root.sh
./ede_base_root.sh
The following error message is thrown:
Authentication realm: <https://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org:443>
Sipxecs SVN
Password for 'sipxchange': Authentication realm:
<https://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org:443> Sipxecs SVN
Username: svn: OPTIONS of
'https://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org/rep/sipXecs/main/sipXcallLib/include/tap
i': authorization failed (https://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org)
Do we require any special permissions to avoid this
authentication failure ?
