Hi Seshu, You'll only need https in Step 3 if you will be committing, which you would need credentials for anyway. Use http for now. The line giving you an error on Step 2 is no longer useful, so I'll remove it. (Our subversion repository no longer allows you to check out source under https without credentials.)

By replacing the "https" with "http", it wont give any Authentication error in step2. But in step3 while getting the sipXecs source code with commit rights, it still gives the Authentication error. Thanks & Regards, Seshu ________________________________ From: Joly, Robert (CAR:9D30) Sent: 14 August 2009 18:41 To: Kollipara, Seshu-Babu (AMR:9T40); [email protected] Subject: RE: [sipX-dev] Authentication failure in step2 of Express DevelopmentEnvironment Setup on fedora Hi Seshu, I'm not an expert in EDE but the person that maintains it is on vacation so I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest something that may or may nor work. Edit ede_base_root.sh and substitute 'https' for 'http' in the line that reads: sudo su - $DEVEL_USER -c "echo p | svn co https://sipxecs.sipfoundry.org/rep/sipXecs/main/sipXcallLib/include/tapi / /tmp/del_me" Save your modification and try to run it again... Let me know... bob
