On an IM client there is a profile the user can configure that includes detailed contact info as well as an avatar. At the same time in sipXconfig we now have contact information per user as well as a phone book. A critical capability is the ability to establish a centralized repository for contact and avatar info. If a user updates contact info in one place it gets updated everywhere. I.e. updates done over the user portal show up in the Counterpath softclient profile.
