Hi All, This query is regarding dimdim web conferencing. Added a freeswitch conference "Sales_Management" with the extension 9999 and PIN 999 to SCS. In the Web conference page of SCS there is new parameter "Dial-in Number" is added which according the issue no XX-6097 gives an idea that " if the conference has external attendees the conference owner should have an option of specifying the DID number instead. The web conferencing screen needs a new field for External Number where external users can reach the conference bridge ". My query is: 1.Whether the "Dial-in number" parameter should accept a different extension other than extension mentioned for the audio conference of SCS? a.If not then there should display an error message stating to configure the same extension as audio conference extn. b.Suppose if different extensions are allowed then, there should be some configuration procedure which on dialing takes to the web conference of the "Sales_Management"(SCS conference) itself. >From the below attached screen shot,I presume that: Displayed two "Dial-in" numbers is for (a)Audio conference i.e 9999 and(b)Web conference i.e 9876. Please correct me If I am missing or going wrong here. Currently my configuration is: A SCS conference "Sales_Management " with the extension 9999& PIN 999 and added Web conference's Dial-in number as 9876 for the same.  Thanks in Advance, Chitralekha. |
