I am not yet a real EDE user, but in looking over what it provides, I wonder if an alias or script to redo the configure step is required. In my experience, it will be necessary to rerun configure at some point during development (when adding new files or projects, or building after someone else has) and configure has a bunch of nasty options and prefixes which I can never remember. Is there something there that I didn't see in the wiki?
