Oops, sent that one before it was finished... Anyway, I should have pointed out the following. A phone that was just auto-provisioned is not yet using configuration generated by sipXconfig. The auto-provisioning feature generated this configuration, which included the unique ID that is shown on the phone's display. This actually makes me realize there is another limitation not previously mentioned. sipXconfig could generate the profile for an auto-provisioned phone before there is a line assigned. If the phone is then rebooted, it will pick up the sipXconfig profile, which will have no registration config and no unique ID to display. In order to have this phone display a unique ID again, it must be deleted from Devices->Phones and manually rebooted. This will re-trigger auto-provisioning (and result in a new unique ID.) -Paul [email protected] _______________________________________________ sipx-dev mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-dev sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
