Consider a user 300 has a per-user forward timer (default=20) and DOES

before getting disconnected?
According to me the user should ring for the 'offering timeout value'
of the phone he is registered OR 180 seconds (default expiration, if
the phone does not have a offering timeout defined) Current Behavior: -----------------
The user 300 rings for 20 seconds and then gets disconnected. (which
is a very short duration)

I think that the system did exactly what it was configured to do and
that's not a bug (it's a dumb configuration, but then finding what
happens with dumb configurations is your job, Chaitra - good test).

Came across this while verifying the polycom issue XX-517 [http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-517] This issue is easily solved in 4.1.0, due to the per-user forward timer the call disconnects in 20 seconds if the user does not have voicemail and callforwarding.
