I can't tell you how many things are working hard at pushing me away from
using sipx. I keep trying to stick to it but my god.

As I've said, I'm not a programmer, I do know how to compile things but pretty
basic stuff. This sounds way deeper than I have the time or energy to get
involved in just to change ONE email notice.

Here is the URL of what I've followed so far. I'm guessing that as is often
the case, this is old, wrong information?

http://sipx-wiki.calivia.com/index.php/Setting_up_a_development_environment

I've gotten some good tips but again, it's a heck of a learning curve to
change just one page. It's why I was hoping someone might do it for me. It
would be nothing more than a simple edit, compile, send me the cgi, revert
back to your old file.

CentOS is what I'm comfy with so that's good.

I'll follow what you just told me. Then I'll have to ask a dozen other
questions on compiling since I'm really after the cgi only it sounds like.

Thanks very much for the input!

Mike
