Is it an accurate assumption if the role of conferencing is NOT assigned, in 4.0.4, that freeswitch does not need to run at all?
I have a system that freeswitch uses 100-200% of CPU (dual), with conferencing unassigned. I don't seem to be able to easily uninstall freeswitch without forcing, and want to understand whether or not it would keep a system from working if it is removed. When FS runs above 10% CPU users begin to have issues with media on ITSP calls intermittently and moreso as CPU climbs. If it cannot be uninstalled, is there a way to disable the service from startup without affecting the other services? -- ====================== Tony Graziano, Manager Telephone: 434.984.8430 Fax: 434.984.8431 Email: [email protected] LAN/Telephony/Security and Control Systems Helpdesk: Telephone: 434.984.8426 Fax: 434.984.8427 Helpdesk Contract Customers: http://www.myitdepartment.net/gethelp/ Why do mathematicians always confuse Halloween and Christmas?
