In rev. 18048, I am changing the format of the special sip:~~in~[user]/[instrume...@[domain] URI to sip:~~in~[user]&[instrume...@[domain] URI. That is, the '/' is replaced with '&'. This is a preemptive change in case the use of '/' in SIP URIs is restricted in the future due to conflicts between the URI grammar in RFC 3261 and the generic URI grammar in RFC 3986.
Since this feature is not officially supported, has never been delivered in a stable version, and can only be configured manually, there should be approximately nobody that is affected by this change.
