The way I see it, very few businesses in our target market use an HTTP proxy that requires authentication. Those that do, will likely understand and accept that it'll cause these problems on our system. We could solve it, but it doesn't even seem worth cluttering the UI with another screen, let alone the design effort. But I could be wrong.
