Can you raise a separate (Minor) issue for the misleading error message?
XX-7877 is a different problem, and I don't want to confuse that issue.
(Both problems were introduced by the revision 18226 fix for XX-7663
Integer validation in sipx: Tapestry validator(for integer) accepting
invalid input & not throwing validation error.)
