Subject: [sipX-dev] Improvement request for the "find" command in Personal
Assistance

Hi All,

This query is regarding an Improvement request for the "find" command in
"Personal Assistant".

Precondition:
---------------
1.Create a csv file contact list where the user name with any one particular
Alphabet(say the added user names starts with "K") should have more than 7
matching names.
[Note: I have added users names with the Alphabet "K" more than] Please refer
my attached csv file: pbookbook.csv

Steps:
---------
1.Add user 900 and upload the contacts to the user 900 through phonebook.
2.Enable IM and My Assistant to the user 900.
3.Register user 900 to Pidgin client.
4.Click on the "MyAssistant"
5.Execute the command "find K"

Current results:
-On executing the command "find K" on the MyAssistant" window,
the response is shown as "Too many matches found" and do not display the list
of matching users.
-This results can also be see if the query is to search for the
user name and that user name has the matching result more than 7.

From the users perspective I think a users should never be
stopped from searching if the query request is to search for a person's contact
detail by giving a single Alphabet in a "find" query too.

Improvement Request:
-In such case, a provision can be made such that on executing
the command "find k" first 7 matching users will be displayed to the user.Later
at the end of displayed list an option "more" could be displayed so that if the
user does not find the required person in the previous displayed list he can
type "more" to obtain the next 7 query matching user name.

Kindly Advice if I can raise an Improvement Issue Accordingly.

Thanks in Advance,
Chitralekha.
