That was one of my workarounds too.

I originally suggested we use the sipx box as an imap server and email (for
sipx only) and let it create the email account (like the IM account) with
each user account creation, and just let the IMAP client handle it. Only
problem is reading the sipx inbox as an xml is a custom job.

At the same time, 4.1.7 has an RSS feed for voicemail, and newer GroupWise
clients have RSS feed sync capability. "IF" the feed can be configured to
display the voicemail message as an article, it can be deleted, and then
that would also cause the sync to occur, I think.
