Today I added an alias to a running 4.2 system. When I did I saw a lot of services restart, which I think is normal.
I am wondering if "all" of the restarts are necessary, like IM, since IM does not actually alias (at least not directly). Granted it ties to FS for media, etc., but does its config actually change?
