Sen,

I may be able to provide some assistance. I have built sipXecs on
Fedora 10-12 and CentOS 5.5. (BTW: I'm pretty sure CentOS 5.5 is just
you get when you update a CentOS 5.2 system)

roughly correlates to 4....@18871
  https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor?project=home%3Asipfoundry
and is stable version and will see only bug fixes. This will be
updated regularly as bug fixes come in.

roughly correlates to 4....@head
  https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=home%3Asipfoundry%3Amain
and is considered the unstable development branch. This will be
updated every few days as code gets submitted.

I know you're interested in dev environment, but you can get the
dependencies from here and take it from there. Roughly there are a
few things

 - you need to install everything in the repositorys for these
projects that is built for your distribution that isn't part of the
sipXecs src. NOTE: This includes installing sipx-freeswitch and
sipx-openfire. (not to be confused with sipxfireeswitch and
sipxopenfire which are not dependencies)

 - you need to configure static IP if you want openfire to deliver IMs

 - you need to install tftp/ftp servers if you want provisioning to work

 - you need to relax permissions on postgres for it will allow local
tcp connnections. It's possible
  sipxconfig.sh --setup
might do this once you get to building sipxecs source

 - i think you need to create sipxconfig db yourself
      sipxconfig.sh -d create

put keep me posted on any questions, I promise to feed them back into
a wiki page.
