iso is available, so anyone can spin their own.

you have it exactly right AFAIK and I think a lot of other people are
confused as well. Although things are dysfunctional for community
developers we're just trying to get some things done

which is as close to a main branch as the community has right now
AFAIK.  If I can create 4.2.3 project in the tracker, I can start to
review and pull in community patches to keep things moving for
everyone.
