            I tried the following scenario:
 1.I created a new user 201
 2.Added the user to the Bria phone and registered
 3.Enabled the IM for this user
 4.Now Logged into the Pidgin, there is no mybuddy displayed in pidgin roster
 5.Now Logged into the end user portal of user 201 and click on Myinformation->Mybuddy->Click on the Mybuddy button
The Mybuddy gets added in the pidgin roster. Hence it is working fine.

Hi All,

         This is regarding the mybuddy button present in the end user portal. The scenario is:

1.Log into the end user portal
2.Click on MyInformation ->MyBuddy
3.On the right hand side of this page, click on the Mybuddy tab. According to the description given : i..e"Click button to enable MyBuddy, which will add MyBuddy to your IM buddy list. Alternatively you can manually add MyBuddy through IM client. ". If I see in the bria phone, the user is not getting added to the IM buddy list.

So we need to alternatively add MyBuddy Manually through IM client (through superadmin account). So could anyone guide me on this to know if this behaviour is ok or do we have to raise a Jira ticket.

If you use pidgin does mybuddy get added to the roster?
