Thanks for the excellent reply!  It is funny you mentioned it we thought "we 
should have checked the logs" immediately after we had reverted our snapshot, 
doh!  I might be able to try the test again with some other VMs I have with 
that cut of the code and get to check the logs.

I appreciate your note - I certainly understand that code in dev might not be 
upgradeable and I fully expect to have to wipe and rebuild, I just wanted to 
confirm that I was not misinterpreting what I saw.  And I agree, not the kind 
of thing I expect anyone to make work, just your confirmation is plenty good!

Occasionally you cannot update, but rare and if we know about it,
we're supposed to inform developers on dev list to clear their system.

sipxconfig.log probably had your answer, if you still have it, it
might be worth posting/investigating.

this doesn't seem to happen enough to go too far out of our way to
chase this down, but thanks for the post, keeps us honest.

BTW: I'm thrilled you're building master, it's a great check.
