Hi, I've seen something analogous with "eyebeam" (commercial version next to xlite). It's the problem of x-lite (if you see the same problem as I did, of course). My problem was: eyebeam incorrectly chooses codec for incoming call.
Check if rtp flows are with the same codec in both directions. You'll see it in the trace. If different codecs are used in different directions, configure xlite to use one and only one codec. You should be able to hear voice in both directions then. Browse counterpath support forum, there is a workaround for the problem (when voice can be heard in one direction only) - advanced configuration option, that makes xlite to choose codec correctly. Again, I've seen it with eyebeam, but I think that xlite can have the same problem.
