Tony,

My provider also sends the +1.......... numbers. To me, the simplest way to get 
around it is to add the plus to each of your DID Aliases, instead of trying to 
strip it off. It seems to work OK for me.

No, there's nothing wrong with them - the leading '+' is usually
interpreted to mean that the digits are a fully qualified E.164 number.

The dial plan code in the router can handle those just fine, but I don't
know if you can get them in through the gui - try adding an optional '+'
as the prefix digit....
