Not being on the same network is a big problem. Is there a NAT connection between you and the sipx installation? If so, this will not work at all. If they are both routed to each other without NAT (VPN, or private connection) then it should work. At the same time I downloaded ekiga beta for a windows PC here and finally got it to register, but it had problems using my audio devices once a call was made, so completing a call was problematic. I did have to disable the default ekiga account too. There has been a lot of discussion on the list for many months about NAT traversal. Maybe searching the archives will help you understand this a bit. In the meantime: 3.10x DOES NTO support NAT traversal. DO NOT think of SIP NAT traversal as a simple matter of port forwarding. SIP media ports are dynamic, and unless you use a SIP aware firewall (Ingate) or SBC then this is not really possible. 4.0 (dev version 3.11.x0 will provide both a b2bua to register to ITSP's for SIP trunks and remote sip connectivity for UA's (like ekiga) available).. This is in alpha testing, not production ready and is not slated for release this year. With sipx right now, depending on your timeline or needs, you might try the dev version to understand sipxbridge (there are wiki entries on that). Or use the stable version and get a sip aware firewall for sipx.

Then restarted sipxpbx. Yes i ran all dns tests and all of them returned correct answers. My computer is not in the same network and it use different dns servers. I will try with different softphone, listed in the wiki page. About the pin and sip pass, yes i set both to be the same and in softphone everything was set right.
