Hi gang,
I am wondering if any of you out there have managed to get your Sip-
X system to discover devices as advertised, or successfully
communicated with the devices once connected? I'm testing Sip-X
3.10.2 right now and have a couple of Linksys SPA921 phones and a
Mediant 1000 gateway, all on the same subnet. Device discovery just
doesn't find them, nor can I send or receive profiles for them or
any of the other actions it's supposed to do. I have added them
manually and I can make calls ok, but I'm having to go into the
actual devices seperately to configure them, rather than simply
using the Sip-X interface for them and pumping out the profile.
Have I got the wrong end of the stick? Am I doing something wrong
or missing something that I should be adding to Sip-X? Is there a
procedure I can follow, as I have yet to find one?

The problem is that the discovery service does not currently recognize
Sipura or Mediant SIP devices. If you can send me the OUI's (first
three octets of their MAC address), I can add these vendors to the
discovery service.
