... and sadly it will not work. It may be possible to configure the phones to disable the ability to forward on the phone (it is on the Polycoms, and that's the default setup we create). There are a bunch of reasons why forwarding on phones creates problems. If you really want to bang your head on that wall, I wish you well, but be warned - all you'll end up with is either a dented wall or a dented head.
