One issue you might come across is the 8030 ONLY works on access points that support WMM. I missed that when we purchased a test unit that is now collecting dust. WMM is a kind of "Plug and Play" QoS that I think was more intended for the home market etc. Our AP's certainly don't support it, I managed to get it working with some a cheap Linksys box that did support it. But it isn't a very viable solution in our case. They may have new firmware by now, but not as of a few months ago...
>>I am trying to integrate the Polycom/SpectraLink 8030 wireless telephones with the SCS500 ( the 8030 sets have the SIP load on them)- can anybody give me some direction on this? I have all the information required from the polycom side _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users
