Hi.

I have two PCs running in my SipXecs cluster. One for proxy and routing,
and the other for vmail, conferencing and SIP trunking.

Today while testing the conferencing, I noticed that when a single
conference was active with only two users, my 20 test ports would fail to
re- register (start to drop off the registration list as they expired).

As soon as I dropped the conference call, the registrations started to come
back up.

My first thought was that this might be a bandwidth issue, but I checked the
stats on the Catalyst switch and the conference load was only 160kbps.

I then tried a sustained ping test, hitting the proxy server with the same
load on the interface. The registrations were fine.

During all of this, the CPU load was minimal on both machines (barely
visible above the 0% line).

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Keith
