Fixed! You must enter the full username for the extension on the speed dial 
list. An alias will not show status.

I don't think so, none of the other models have those red lights. How do I 
check that sipXecs is sending the indication that the users are 
available/unavailable?

I know that with the 601 phone, the "line" buttons that aren't used for
lines can be used for BLFs.  Can you use spare line buttons on any of
the phones (other than the receptionist) for BLF?
