This is exactly what we have been doing for our office and it works fine. We create a second line for the pilot in the hunt group and send it there first, then ring the others. If no answer we have it set to go to the receptionist "normal" line (not hunt group line) as voicemail.

You can't put the same phone in more than one position in a forwarding plan - the duplication is detected and removed (even if the proxy allowed it, the phone would likely reject the call as a 'merged call' anyway). It sounds to me as though the simplest thing to do would be to set things so that all incoming calls go only to the receptionist, then use the forwarding rules for that user to forward to the hunt group at whatever delay you want. You _may_ be able to get it to also ring the receptionists phone in the hunt by putting another line on the phone with a different identity (so the phone will have lines both for 'receptionist' and 'receptionist-in-hunt'), but as I say, the phone may not accept it. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/ _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
