No, VM wasn't working not sure what else, I was in a hurry on the 3.10.1 upgrade so I didn't have time to dig, I simply did a backup once I got the GUI working then a clean install from a 4.0.1 ISO and then did a restore.
On the 3.10.3 upgrade to 4.0.1 this was a system without phone registered to it (my test box). I just to make sure I understand. I assume when the upgrade happens someone would need to login andassign roles since 3.10.x did not have that feature before it could beuseable. Did sipxecs run properly after that? Services all started, phones registerd, AA worked, etc. or were there "useability" issues? >>> "Picher, Michael" <[email protected]> 06/24/09 11:00 AM >>> No it did not function properly. Experienced the same symptoms from 3.10.1 to 4.0.1 and from 3.10.3 to 4.0.1. After you installed sipxsupervisor on 3.10.3 and did the upgrade did the system seem to function normally? -----Original Message----- From: "Picher, Michael" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: 6/24/2009 5:40:49 AM Subject: [sipx-users] 3.10.x to 4.0.1 upgrade I've done two 3.10.x upgrades to 4.0.1 and run into problems both times so far. The first one I did was a 3.10.1 and the second was 3.10.3. I haven't dug too far in but at a minimum sipxsupervisor is not getting installed. Here's a log of what I've done on the 3.10.3 system.
